Course description: this is the most educational and challenging course of the skiff world. Thanks to this course, you will learn how to steer the most fun and fastest boats in every point of sails, to maneuver and jibe with a gennaker. Most of all you will learn that a planing boat has completely different priorities than other dinghies. It is a real revolution from your old knowledge.
Topics: rigging and de-rigging a skiff, position and moving aboard, planing and displace, gennaker jibing, how to properly use your feet and your weight, apparent wind and S route, how to sail close-hauled and broad reach, bearing away, how to handle the side balance, mental attitude aboard and at land, capsizing and still boat.
Rate includes: sailing course with theory and practical lessons – handbook – lodging and boarding at our Orza camp in a dormitory-style room with six beds, bathroom and shower – transfer to and from Palau/Porto Pollo.
